Transport, forest, housing and environment minister Mohammed Akbar said that party office bearers, workers and people are coming forward to share their various problems for resolution by the government.
It would be taken up at appropriate level to resolve them.
He was speaking to media after the public meeting programme held at Congress headquarters, Rajiv Bhawan on Monday.
Akbar said people across the state are coming up with their problems.
Prominent among the issues raised by the public is the demand for upgradation of Piparia sub-tehsil as full- fledged tehsil. The concerned department has been forwarded the demand letter for necessary action, he said.
A social organization working towards environment awareness gave information regarding a drive they started for ‘Plantation in each house’. A publicity song on environmental awareness was released. The office bearers said that they had commenced the plantation drive from their own and relatives’ houses.
Minister assured the organization for providing free of cost saplings from forest department. Minister said that primary cooperative committee office bearers raised the issue of delimitation of their cooperative committees and problems faced in primary publication.
