Chhattisgarh Chief Secretary, Amitabh Jain told the officials of sports department to prepare a detailed work-plan for encouraging sports activities in state.
He gave an instruction regarding the same at a review meeting of works of sports and youth welfare department, held recently at Mahanadi Bhawan Mantralaya in Nava Raipur.
Addressing the meeting the Chief Secretary also told the officials to encourage sports talents of state who had excelled at state and national level. Arrangements should be made to induct such sportsmen in government job, he said.
He also reviewed the works of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Clubs, and new sports academies and the progress of declaring annual sports calendar, policy to declare ‘Excellent Sportsman’ and the conduction of training camps to polish the budding talents in state.
Director, Sports and Youth Welfare, Shweta Sinha Shrivastava and other senior officials were in the meeting.
