A meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers convened by Chairman of State Warehousing Corporation Ashok Bajaj at Mandirhasaud and Arang regions on Thursday to prepare for the Chief Minister Raman Singh’s Vikas Yatra commencing on August 17.
Addressing the party workers, Bajaj stated that the Vikas Yatra’s prime objective is to bring the State Government’s welfare schemes to the people. “We (the BJP) had remained in the Opposition for a long time while performing its duty. We would like to remain in power for the time we remained in the Opposition,” he added.
