Additional Chief Secretary NK Aswal on Thursday instructed the officers of Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department to prepare a special action plan to provide different kinds of facilities to schools, Ashram schools and hostels before start of the next academic session.
In the two-day review meeting organised at the Tribal Commissioner’s office, Aswal reviewed the schemes related to the Department in detail. While reviewing the integrated tribal development projects, Aswal asked the Project Administrator to make the works and progress of the
projects online.
Aswal instructed to prepare a road map for providing basic facilities like drinking water, housing facility to female superintendents and more toilets be
constructed in hostels and ashram buildings of the State and present a special action plan within a month.
While reviewing the progress of main schemes of the Department like cycle distribution scheme, building construction, pension cases and compassionate appointment, the ACS instructed to hold meetings of district officers every month at headquarters to bring compactness in the Department works.
He instructed to hold meeting of Project Implementation Agencies at district level every month regularly.
Aswal instructed to prepare action plan for preparation of schemes with the state budget and the amount received from other schemes along with marking of critical gaps and to complete these facilities within two years. For regular monitoring of project works, he instructed to prepare a system and asked Nodal officers for
physical verification of the works.
