n‘Van Mahotsav’ was celebrated at headquarters of Chhattisgarh State Power Company, Dangania in Raipur where fruit bearing and flowering saplings were planted by officials and employees led by company Chairman Shailendra Shukla.
Power Transmission Company Managing Director Tripti Sinha, large number of officials and employees carried out the plantation.
“Trees and plants have multi-utility for human life. As in different festivals and festivity people register their participation, in the same way during ‘Van Mahotsav’ each citizen should register participation to conserve the environment,” said Shukla on the occasion.
“Importance of tree is unparallel for any human life. There is need to create the awareness. For this every year across the country, from July 1 to 7, ‘Van Mahotsav’ is held,” he adds.
