The State Government on Saturday released posting orders for 108 posts of medical officers selected through a special drive to ease the problem of lack of sufficient doctors in various district-level primary health centres (PHCs) and hospitals of the State.
The detailed orders for postings were released by the Health Department from the Mantralaya in Naya Raipur, according to an official release issued here on Saturday.
As per the posting orders, the selected candidates for Medical Officer (Grade –II) would be offered a salary scale of 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of `5,400 with approved allowances to be paid from time-to-time during the probation period from the date of taking charge.
The terms and conditions of the service are as follows—The selected candidates would have to assume charge within a month of issuance of the posting order or the same would be automatically deemed as cancelled.
The candidates have to present all the necessary documents required for assuming charge at their designated PHCs and district hospitals.
The order stated that the postings are fully temporary and the service can be terminated any time by either side on a month’s notice or through payment of a month’s salary along with the allowances in lieu of the notice. The candidates would also have to submit a certificate of medical fitness from the Divisional Medical Board within two months of assuming charge.
