As part of Population Stability Fortnight programme, an Awareness rally was taken out by the women multi-purpose health workers and general nursing fellowship students in the city.Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr AKS Ratre flagged off the rally. The Population Stability Fortnight will continue till July 24 in all health organisations. The slogan of three years gap between two children was given for happy family.
Distribution of contraceptive pills, training on installation of IUCD will be given to Mitanins, ANMs etc. Family planning operation facilities will be available.Publicity will be done through vehicles in all development blocks. Dr SK Shukla, Dr Ghanshyam Chandrakar, Dr VB Agrawal, Neelu Ghritlahre, Sandeep Chandrakar, Aruna Tandi, DR Sori and other officials of Health Department were present on the occasion.
