With the youth in prime focus in BJP’s campaign agenda for the forthcoming Assembly polls in Chhattisgarh, the party’s youth wing — Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) fully went into poll mode on Tuesday with the inauguration of its hi-tech ‘War Room’ to launch campaigns and co-ordinate booth level activities.

The term ‘War Room’ had been coined by the BJYM to signify the intensity of poll preparations it is undertaking in Chhattisgarh. The ‘War Room’ was inaugurated today jointly by State BJP General Secretary (Organization) Rampratap Singh and Chairman of State Minerals Development Corporation Gaurishankar Agrawal at the State BJP headquarters here.

The ‘War Room’ comprises high-tech communication facilities which would be utilised for keeping in touch with all the BJYM’s district level centres to carry out poll related activities across Chhattisgarh, a State BJP statement issued here stated. The ‘War Room’ would take up social media tasks besides connecting State level office bearers, In-charges and members of party’s State level Working Committee.

State BJP General Secretary ( Organization) Rampratap Singh stated that the ‘War Room’ is hugely significant in the context of the forthcoming polls as the youth will play a massive role in ‘Mission 2013’ in ensuring BJP’s victory in the State. Chairman of State Minerals Development Corporation Gaurishankar Agrawal said that the strategy to be adopted by BJYM to connect the youth would help it accompalish its objective through the ‘War Room’.

Both BJYM State general Secretaries Ashish Agarwal and Bhupendra Singh stated that the remaining 100 days before the Assembly polls are being taken as a ‘War’ by BJYM that is why its office had been named as a ‘War Room’. BJYM State Office In-charge Amarjeet Singh Chhabra added : 'After the inauguration of the State-level ‘War Room’,  similar ‘war rooms’ would now be opened in all the district levels centres where the youth would work at the booth level for the party.
