Political uneasiness could be seen clearly among the supporters because of the speculation of not giving ticket to sitting MP Madhusudan Yadav from Rajnandgaon lok Sabha seat.
Yadav, however, met people as usual. It has been said that the MP had discussion with the close supporters about the changed circumstances.
Clear indications are there that Yadav, soon after the official declaration, would do election campaign in favour of Chief Minister Raman Singh’s son Abhishek if he is offered a ticket to contest polls from Rajnandgaon seat. It has been said that Yadav himself had advocated with Chief Minister Raman Singh for giving ticket to Abhishek.
On last Monday, in the meeting called by the Chief Minister, Yadav had given his approval in favour of Abhishek. After the speculations in giving ticket to Abhishek Singh have increased in the district, people close to Yadav in Rajnandgaon and Kawardha districts are also unhappy with the decision.
It was learnt that Yadav has given advice to the workers of the parliamentary constituency to work in favour of Abhishek. It is clear that Yadav will campaign in favour of Abhishek without any aversion or dislike.
Yadav had made his presence felt strong among the people of both the districts. During the five-year period, he had played effective role not only in solving problems of people, but for bringing changes in their personal lives also, by reaching almost all the villages of the constituency.
Now the claim for lok Sabha ticket to Abhishek Singh, the son of Chief Minister Raman Singh, has almost been clear, though the decision will be made clear after March 13. It has been said that organisational leaders of Rajnandgaon-Kawardha had raised much voice against Yadav.
According to sources, senior leaders of the district had openly expressed their protest in giving ticket to the MP for the second time. From the time of last assembly elections, speculations were ripe about Abhishek Singh’s entry into the political battlefield.
