Collector and District Election Officer Avinash Champawat on Monday called upon all the political parties in the district to help with the special brief revision of voter list drive commencing on December 13 for bringing out an error free voter list in the district.
He was addressing the representatives of political parties on the issue of the revision of voter list at the conference hall of the District Collectorate here in the presence of District Superintendent of Police Ramgopal Garg.
The Collector said that the work on making corrections and photo merging on the control table for the voter list revision would be carried out from December 13 and the list would be published on December 16. The various claims and objections on the list would be invited between December 16 to 31.
The reading of the voter list and endorsement for the Gram Sabhas would be carried out between December 22 to 29. The claims and objections under the special drive would be invited through booth level agents on December 25, he said.
The redressal of claims and objections would be carried out on January 10 and the final list would be published on January 21, Champawat said.
