About 22,743 children in the district would be administered polio drops on January 18 and February 22 this year.Collector Taman Singh Sonwani has directed officials of various departments to work with a team spirit to make the campaign successful.
He also directed to administer pulse polio drops to all children in the age groups of 0 to 5 years. There would be about 458 pulse polio booths in the district and 498 inoculation teams would be constituted, officials stated.
Around 884 employees have been deployed for the purpose. In order to administer pulse polio drops to the targeted age groups of the children in taxi stands, haat bazars and bus-stand, four mobile teams and eight transit groups would be formed.
