Chhattisgarh Police on Monday arrested a 22-year-old owner of a hookah bar after a raid in Bilaspur city.
He was arrested under the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA).
Bilaspur Additional Superintendent of Police (Urban) Umesh Kashyap identified him as Somu Manikpuri, who owns Hangover Café at Agrasen Chowk.
Police seized four hookah pots, five hookah flavours, a spring water box and two flavoured betel boxes from him.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel banned hookah bars in October.
