Chhattisgarh Police on Friday seized a huge cache of duplicate branded engine oil valued at Rs 4.52 lakhs from Mana locality on the Raipur. One man was arrested.
Rohit Pinjni (30) of Raipur city was taken into custody, Raipur Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Kirtan Rathore said.
Following the complaint of branded engine oil companies, the police raided the factory running from a room in Saddani Market in Mana area.
The police seized 1,502 liters of engine oil including 67 cartons and 10 drums besides three cartons each containing 300 pouches of engine oil, Rathore said.
