Prime Minister Narendra Modi must inform the citizens of the country how much success resulted with demonetization which was to curb black money and stop funding for terrorists and Maoists, said Anil Kumar Sharma, AICC National Co-ordinator for Chhattisgarh region and former president of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee at Congress Bhavan here on Monday.
He said that the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee will hold a mass movement of the people who were affected due to demonetisation while addressing a press conference here.
The AICC strongly condemns the decision of demonetisation of old currency notes by the Central Government, he said.
People still feel comfortable with cash handling for their routine work whereas Central Government is compelling them to adopt cashless transactions without proper training and availability of technology, Sharma said.
