nChhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged people to take up cleaning all places of worship till the consecration ceremony at Ayodhya.
“On the day of Pran Pratistha, light lamps in your houses at night and fill the environment with joy,” he said.
Sai was addressing the “Kite Festival” organized by the Culture Department on the occasion of Makar Sankranti in Nava Raipur.
MP Sunil Soni, Education Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal and Tribal Affairs Minister Ramvichar Netam were present.
Sai launched a statewide cleanliness drive and called upon the people to clean their nearby places of worship from Makar Sankranti till the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
Agrawal said: “Today, various communities are celebrating the kite festival together. This is a symbol of the unity and integrity of the country.”
