Chhattisgarh’s Panchayat and Rural Development Department on Tuesday instructed officers to ensure plantation of shady trees in Gauthan premises and speed up the financial related activities related to Gaudhan Nyay Yojana (GNY).
Panchayat and Rural Development Minister T.S. Singh Deo asked Departmental Secretary Gaurav Dwivedi to go for shady trees in the Gauthan areas in the rainy season, a government statement said.
The Minister told the Secretary to speed up the activities related to digging Cattle Protection Trench, starting vermi compost units and installation of shades for Self Help Groups as well as other machines and equipment.
The Minister called for regular filing of monitoring reports and said he will review the progress every week.
