Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Minister Kedar Kashyap on Thursday planted saplings at three Government student hostels at Pensionwada locality of the city as part of the ongoing plantation drive in the State.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that every student should plant at least one sapling every year.
He said that the ongoing plantation drive is significant in the context of the environment conservation and cleanliness drive being taken up in the State. The plantation programme would be held in every student hostel of the State, Kashyap said.
