P K Dash has assumed charge as Executive Director (Works) Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) here, a press release by BSP informed.
He took charge from T B Singh who has been transferred to Durgapur Steel Plant as ED (Works).
Having obtained his B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Metallurgy from Regional Engg College, Rourkela, Dash joined SAIl in Rourkela as Management Trainee (Tech) in 1982.
He has worked in Blast Furnaces Department of RSP, rising through the ranks to head the Blast Furnaces Dept as General Manager in 2011.
In February 2016, he took charge as GM I/c Services in RSP.
In May 2016, Dash was transferred to Durgapur Steel Plant as GM (Blast Furnaces).
He subsequently became GM I/c Iron at Durgapur.
In April 2017, Dash was transferred to Bhilai Steel Plant as General Manager I/c Iron. In September 2017, he Dash was elevated to the rank of Executive Director and given charge of ED (Operations) in Corporate Office.
