Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Prof PJ Kurien visited Naya Raipur and appreciated the work plan according to which construction and development works are being undertaken here.
Prof Kurien visited Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Hospital and observed facilities at the the hospital which provides free treatment to the congenital heart patients. During his visit, Prof. Kurien met the doctors and patients in the hospital and appreciated the organisation for the service provided by it.
Prof Kurien was accompanied by Additional Chief Secretary and Chairman of Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) N Baijendra Kumar. Kumar explained to him about the special features of development projects of Naya Raipur.
Prof Kurien observed the development and construction works being undertaken there and lauded the planned development by the State government in Naya Raipur. He also planted a sapling on the occasion.
