The PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PHDCCI) in joint association with Academy for Integrated Management of Engineering & Safety, Bhopal (AIMES), the training division of AI Automation Pvt. ltd.
Bhopal will be holding a two-day Workshop on “Causes of Vibrations and how they can be eliminated in large rotating machines” from Monday (August 26) at Hotel GT Star, Raipur beginning at 10.00 am. The workshop is being held to transfer high-end skills to the new generation in a fast and easy manner, a PHDCCI press release issued here on Sunday stated.
This step is aimed at taking technical training from industry to industry, industry to institution with a view to helping both the industry and institution in the long run. With a widening competition base, demanding customers, price wars, overstretched service and reduced manpower, it has become necessary to transfer the skills nearer to the end user.
As not having the right technical skill is costly, time consuming and penalising which is additional burden to the organisation. Alternatively if the operational and maintenance skill is nearer to customer, it offers a bigger peace of mind to both Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and end users.
The faculty for the workshop would be highly experienced who have worked with leading OEM’s like BHEl, Crompton Greaves, etc. They have an experience of commissioning more then 150 to 200 different types of rotating machines in their lifetime. The workshop will definitely go a long way in sharing of the experience from the learned to the learners and help them acquire skill for betterment of the organisation and improving the uptime of the plants, it stated.
