Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ajay Chandrakar on Thursday said that the State Government had been making efforts to provide basic amenities to all sections of the society.
He was addressing villagers at a Hathbandh, Kargaa, at Development Block at Kurud.
Chandrakar said that social welfare schemes will only be successful when the masses participate in the developmental process.He said that the villagers should also realize their duties along with their rights.
They should observe whether teachers are attending to their classes on time, malnourished children are fed nourishment at Anganwadi centres or not.
