Collector Topeshwar Verma in Chhattisgarh's Rajnandgaon district on Sunday urged all citizens to avoid going to crowd places so as to protect themselves from Covid-19.
People must ensure they do not become a crowd while buying vegetables, fruits and other necessities, he said in a statement.
He appealed to residents to buy vegetables through home delivery or from hand cart vendors and to leave the house only if it is really necessary.
Masks are very important to protect human lives, he said. "Let’s make wearing masks a habit."
