Raipur District Peace Committee meeting was held on Sunday and was chaired by Raipur Additional District Magistrate (ADM) and Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) at Police Control room keeping in view of coming up ‘Eid ul-Fitr’.
ADM Deepak Agrawal and ASP Pankaj Chandra urged the members and people to celebrate the festival peacefully to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood in capital city.
The departmental officials were directed to make all necessary arrangements in city to maintain law and order during the Eid ul-Fitr.
As per the preceding years, all basic amenities will be extended. On the occasion, Raipur Municipal Corporation will maintain cleanliness, light, keep fire-brigade on alert and make necessary arrangements for parking. Necessary security arrangement will also be maintained.
