Chhattisgarh Government on Wednesday fixed the rates of RT-PCR and antigen testing for private labs and hospitals.
“For RT-PCR test, private labs will charge Rs 1,600 and in case of home visit it will be Rs 1,800,” an official press release said. If samples are sent to labs out of the state, then it will be Rs 2,000 while sample collection and home visit for the same will be charged Rs 2,200. The charges will cover sample collection, transport, consumable items and PPE kit, it said.
Antigen testing at private labs will cost Rs 900 which will include PPE kit and consumable charged, it added. These rates have come into effect immediately.
