Chief Secretary Ajay Singh on Friday evening chaired a video conference meeting of divisional commissioners and district collectors and directed that farmers be paid compensation for damage caused to crops due to rain and hailstorms within a week.
He also reviewed the various demands and complaints pertaining to drought relief compenation and other issues under lok Suraj Abhiyan.
Regarding the various announcements made by Chief Minister Raman Singh during lok Suraj Campaign, the Chief Secretary reviewed the works and directed that the district collectors need to complete work and send the report to the State Government.
Singh also asked all district collectors to work on an action plan so that there is no drinking water shortage in their respective districts during summer season.
He also reviewed the status on distribution of lPG connection under PM Ujjawala Yojana.
