The BJP government is dedicated to improving the lot of poor in the State. The data presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi states that in four years, economic condition of five crore people have improved, said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Dharamlal Kaushik.
He was addressing the BJP State Working Committee meeting held at Ekatma Parisar here on Friday.
In Chhattisgarh, after Chief Minister Raman Singh assumed office in 2003, it was being considered as a BIMARU state and labour migration was high which had become synonymous to the state. But BJP government considered the problem and now no one sleeps on an empty stomach nor deaths are occurring. The message of ‘Antyodaya’ has been put in place on the ground for which full credit goes to Chief Minister, Kaushik said.
He said, “Our target is not obtaining power but providing rights to the poor, exploited and the denied, for which work has to be done.”
Kaushik recalled the contributions of former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his Hindi speech in the UN on the occasion of ‘Hindi Diwas’.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is following Atalji’s footsteps and once again put India on economic growth map.
On BJP National President Amit Shah, he said it is the hard work of party’s National President that BJP Government is in 20 states .
In Chhattisgarh, the party would form government for the fourth consecutive term. New record of registering 65 plus seats would be established. Each booth with further strength should work and it should be the target, Kaushik said.
Last time it was 13 lakh party members and this year it is 27 lakh members. The message of public oriented welfare schemes has to be disseminated among people and it is time for hard work. It is the responsibility of party workers to achieve the target, he said. Later, the Committee paid tributes to departed souls.
