Newly-appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh Maati Kala Board Chandrashekhar Pande assumed charge at the Board's office located at Geetanjali Nagar in the city on Friday.
After assuming charge, Pande said that the Board had been constituted to look after the welfare of potters and clay artists in the State.
He called upon the artists from various parts of the State to co-operate in implementing the various policies.
