Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that the HT line had been completed at a cost of an estimated Rs 14 crore. Before the setting up of the new HT line, domestic consumers and industrial units in Kabirdham district faced low voltage problems. With the start of the double line power distribution, the consumers, besides power supply received by Pandaria and Kawardha Sub Stations from 220 KV Sub Station at Bemetra, power supply from 220 KV Sub Station at Bhatapara had also been made available which would very soon connect to the 220 KV Sub Station at Mungeli, Singh said.
