“A payment of Rs 22,468 crore has been made to their bank accounts,” an official in the Marketing Federation (MARKFED) said.

Chhattisgarh has targeted in this Kharif season to procure 130 lakh tonnes of paddy. The last date for the procurement process is January 31.

The state government is procuring 21 quintal paddy per acre.
