Paddy procurement will be carried out on all days except public holidays, Saturdays till January 31, 2019 .
This was informed through a circular to all concerned officials.
The Government has directed the officials of MARKFED and the committees to arrange sufficient gunny bags for paddy procurement process.
All the registered farmers desirous of selling paddy will be issued a token and the paddy weighed the same day.
The government has alerted officials to keep an eye on persons trying of sell paddy of other states in the procurement centers.
