Paddy procurement for the Kharif Marketing Year 2013-14 by the co-operative societies on support prices would take place between October 21, 2013 to February 15, 2014 in the district, an official statement here informed.
District Collector NS Mandavi has informed that the paddy procurement would be taking place through MARKFED and maize would be procured through Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation, Primary Agriculture Produce Co-operative Societies and large Agriculture Multi Purpose Society (lAMPS).
He directed that samples of new paddy stocks be kept sealed in the procurement centers.
