The farmers in the district can get their names registered for paddy procurement by the registered societies latest by October 31, officials stated. The district administration has asked the farmers to take advantage of the extended date for registration and submit their applications in the societies of their respective areas with the necessary documents.
The farmers would have to submit applications on the standard formats provided by the registered societies in their respective regions. If the details furnished by the farmers are found to be correct after verification, the names of the farmers would be registered by the societies, officials stated.
