Over 70 lakh applications were received in the first phase of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, an official communiqué said on Tuesday.
The application period ended on February 20.
Under this, married women will get Rs. 1,000 a month. The amount will be transferred to their bank accounts from March 1.
A provisional list will be released soon after verification. Claims and objections will be accepted after the provisional list is released.
The final list will be released after resolving claims and objections.
The eligible beneficiaries will again be given the opportunity to apply in the next phase, the communiqué said.
