Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Ajay Chandrakar on Friday informed Chhattisgarh Assembly that the State Government has constructed 195841 toilets across the State till December 31, 2015 under Clean India Mission.
In a written reply to Congress member Bhupesh Baghel, Chandrakar informed that a target was fixed for construction of 90,0473 toilets across the State between financial year 2014-15 and 2015-16. He further informed that construction of as many as 195841 toilets has been completed in the State till December 31, 2015 against the fixed target. As many as four complaints regarding quality of toilet construction work were received and necessary action in this connection was taken.
