Online monitoring of public complaints resolution

Published on:

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday called for online monitoring to resolve public grievances concerning different departments. It should start from March 1.

He asked the Chief Secretary to make the necessary arrangements for this. This would ensure resolution of grievances filed with departments like revenue, police, electricity, health and urban bodies with a time limit.

The facility of online monitoring of the status of redressal of public grievances should commence from March 1.

The online monitoring of the status of redressal of public grievances should be ensured at the level of Chief Minister's Secretariat and Chief Secretary, Baghel added.

The common man should have the facility to register his grievances sitting at home or from any part of the state. The complainant should also receive the information regarding the status of his application.

This would ensure that citizens do not make regular rounds of the government departments to know the status of his grievances, he said.
