hhattisgarh Police on Sunday arrested seven persons from Bilaspur city and brought them here for operating an online betting racket via Mahadeva app.
Durg Superintendent of Police Shalabh Kumar Sinha identified them as Shailendra Singh, Jaswant Singh, Roshan Singh, Manish Taron, Bhupendra Kumar, Nilesh Kumar and Deepak Singh.
The first five are from Durg district while Nilesh Kuamr hails from Korea district. Singh is a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
They were nabbed from Rajkishore Nagar in the city following the statements of five accused held in Durg on Saturday.
The police seized 23 mobile phones, four laptops, an ATM card, a bank cheque book and other documents from them.
