Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday said that promises made in the Congress election manifesto and yet to be fulfilled will turn into a reality as one more assembly session will take place before upcoming elections.
Speaking to reporters after his budget speech, Baghel said promises like regularization of contract and other irregular employees and enforcement of the Journalist Safety Act would soon be fulfilled.
“Before going for the polls in December, the monsoon session remainis," he said.
Stating that farmers had got prosperous through Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Baghel said the state which was termed as ‘rice bowl’ had now become ‘money-bowl’.
“Care has been taken while making provisions that each and every section of the society, whether tribal, Scheduled Caste, women, labourers or youths, all benefit," Baghel said.
“The budget was a ‘Bharose Ka Budget’. We had tried to meet the expectations of people. The feedback from the people during the Bhent Mulaqat interaction was taken into consideration."
