Talking to media Satpathi informed that, the boarding district adjacent to Odisha namely Raigarh, Mahasamund, Bastar, Dantewada and Jashpur have about 42 per cent Odia population. It is tied up both socially, culturally and emotionally, he added. “Students interested in studying Odia which finds place in the syllabus for secondary education are now being debarred of this opportunity due to absence qualified Odia language teachers. Hence, we have come to talk State Government to a solution.”
