Managing Director of Odisha State Beverages Corporation (OSBC) Dwijraj Kar was in the city on Wednesday to study the Excise Policy of the State.
Kar had a meeting with Chhattisgarh Excise Commissioner Ashok Agrawal at Excise Bhavan on Wednesday to know about the functioning of Chhattisgarh State Beverage Corporation.
According to information, during the meeting Agrawal explained in detail r about the workings and policies of Chhattisgarh State Beverage Corporation.
He informed about the workings of wholesale godowns, departmental structure at the field level, fixing of retail rates, fixing of minimum security stock and fixing of license fee of liquor shops.
Officers later also visited the wholesale godowns and retail liquor shops to study their functioning.
