Nun assault: Med report doesn't confirm rape

The medical report of nun who was attacked by two unidentified men in a medical facility located in Pandri area has mentioned attempts of sexual assault, informed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Raipur, GP Singh on Sunday.“The medical reports did not confirm rape. We have formed over 15 teams and are investigating the case from all possible angles,” the IGP said adding, several suspected anti-social elements have been held in this connection. 

Police sources informed that over 50 persons have been detained for questioning.According to the IGP, the persons who have executed the plan were familiar 

with place where the victim used to live.Meanwhile, agitated over attack on nun members of Christian community, the nuns and other citizens took out a silent protest rally and staged demonstration at Kalibadi Chowk by lighting candles.
