‘Beti Bachao’ public awareness drive was conducted in more than 40 places in rural areas of state. A team of artists travelled to different locations under the leadership of Doctor Manoj Chellani and staged the plays.

The public awareness drive was conducted by the center using the medium street play (nukkad natak) to educate the people about the evils associated with female feticide. One and a half month of campaign in Chhattisgarh ended with lot of people promising to abide female feticide.

On completion of the awareness drive, Dr Manoj Chellani, IVF Expert , Aayush ICSI Test Tube Baby Center commented “Understanding the agony of the childless couple we strongly felt a need to make people understand that on one hand where the infertile couples are striving for having their own bundle of joy , people are non hesitant of female feticide . To do our bit towards the society, we under our corporate social responsibility program initiated an awareness drive”, said Dr Chellani.
