To felicitate the senior employees who have rendered 15 and 25 years long and continuous service to NTPC, the Sipat Super Thermal Power Station organised a ‘long Service Award ceremony’ here on Wednesday (July 2).
Executive Director, NTPC Sipat, YV Rao felicitated 72 employees, 69 employees for 25 years and 3 employees for 15 years long service in NTPC limited.
The function was inaugurated by Executive Director, NTPC Sipat, YV Rao, President, Sangwari Mahila Samiti, Padma Rao along with other General Managers of NTPC Sipat with lamp lighting.
Addressing the employees, Rao congratulated the awardees and acclaimed their contribution for making NTPC a ‘Maharatna’ and the country’s largest power producer.
He remarked : “NTPC prides its employees and employees have made NTPC proud”. Rao also expressed his satisfaction on performance of project Sipat and being the ‘flag bearer project’ of modern super critical project.
long Service award is giving to the employees as a best practice of Human Resource (HR), to acclaim employees’ contribution for rendering continuous service to the company. In the 25 year category, employees are awarded with 10 gram gold coin and a citation and employees who have completed 15 year service were awarded with a silver plaque with citation. After the award distribution ceremony, a cultural programme was presented by renowned Gazal singer Pravanjay Chaturvedi.
On the occasion, all awardees with their family, members and office bearers of unions and associations and senior executives of NTPC Sipat were present.
