Similar to previous years, NTPC Korba Station is supplying drinking water to the nearby villages through tankers in the ongoing summer season. The water is being distributed in four different routes.
As many as four tankers are serving around 17 villages including Gopalpur, Ayodhya Puri Basti, Fertilizer Basti and Chorbatti, a company press release informed.
The district administration has been given funds for the installation of hands pumps in ward numbers 2, 8 and 12. In some of these wards, the hand pump installation is to be done by CREDA. The financial support for this work has also been extended, it stated.
