The Korba Station of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) has bagged Greentech Gold Award 2014 for Environment at the 15th Annual Greentech Environment Awards ceremony held in Kolkata recently. NTPC’s Korba Station has won the Greentech Gold Award consecutively for the second time, a NTPC press release issued here on Friday stated.
The award was presented by Kamaleshwar Shran, President, Greentech Foundation and R N Saxena, Managing Director, M P Rajya Van Vikash Nigam limited to S K Sanbad, AGM (EMG & Ash Utilization), NTPC Korba.
In this category 88 participants took part. Prakash Tiwari, Group General Manager, NTPC Korba congratulated the Environment and Ash Utilisation Group of the Station for this achievement and has urged them to scale new heights and set new benchmarks.
