Protesting against State Government’s outsourcing policy, hundreds of activists of National Students Union of India (NSUI) on Monday courted arrest while moving towards Raipur District Employment Office for locking it out.
Around 100 NSUI activists led by their State President Akash Sharma and General Secretary Bhavesh Shukla moved towards the Employment Office located at Pandri from Congress Bahavan via Motibagh Chowk.
The activists were stopped at Shastri Chowk by the police. During the protest, NSUI State President Akash Sharma alleged that two lakh educated youths having eligibility from primary level to PhD level who have been enrolled at the Raipur District Employment Office are wandering from pillar to post in search of jobs due to sheer negligence of State Government towards quality education.
