A blood test and blood donation camp was organised by the NSS unit of Sant Guru Ghasidas Government College, Kurud at Civil Hospital here on Sunday.
Using the slogan ‘Swasth bharat ke swasth yuva’, the NSS cadres inspired the students for blood donation.Blood test and sickle cell test of more than 110 students was conducted during the day-long camp which was organised at the blood unit of the civil hospital under the guidance of Dr Phoolmali.Assistant Professor D Shashank Gupta, Tarun Patel, Mandeep, volunteers of NSS including, Yashpal Sahu, lekhram Dahre, Pramod Jha, Yaadram Sahu, Omprakash, Chemprakash, Prem Yadav and others donated blood at the camp. About 31 persons donated blood during the camp.
Dr Priti Agrawal, Kamlesh Nirmalkar, Sameer Maseeh, Anil Kumbhkar, and others rendered their services for successful organisation of the camp. The camp was organised on the direction of NSS Programme Officer BR Verma and under the guidance of Assistant Programme Officer Bharti Mandavi.
