The Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) has sanctioned Rs 42.15 lakh for nine development and construction works at various villages included in its project.
The in-charge chief executive officer of NRDA Mahadev Kavre said that sanction has been accorded for construction works in Cheria, Pountha, Paloud, Khandwa, Banjari, Kuhera, Kotrabhatta, Navangaon and Pacheda villages.
With the sanctioned amount, cc road, community hall and kanji house will be construction, he added.He said that this time the sanctioned amount has been released in one go, whereas, earlier the amout had been released at instalments.NRDA has been carrying out various development works of the villages coming under the Naya Raipur area.
Earlier, Rs 6.52 crore had been sanctioned for 154 development works, out of which 125 works have been completed and the remaining works would be completed soon, the in-charge CEO said.
Kavre said, for the skill development of the youths of the area NRDA has been imparting training to them in mechanic, nursing, plumber, driving, electrician, assembling of lED equipment etc. So far, 2200 youths have been imparted training in various sectors, he added.
