The Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Wednesday released an amended programme of Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh’s Vikas Yatra in Raigarh district.
As per the new schedule the chief minister will participate in the Vikas Yatra on August 23, 26 and 29 during which nine welcome meetings and six public meetings will be organised at which Dr Singh will bestow development projects worth crores to the public of the district besides distributing freebies to beneficiaries of various welfare schemes. According to the new schedule, Dr Singh will commence the Vikas Yatra in the district on August 23 at Village Hati under Dharamjaigarh Block.
He will reach Hati at 4 in the evening and attend a welcome meeting, at 4.30 pm he will reach Kudekela village of Dharamjaigarh block, and at 5 pm Chhal village where also a welcome meet will be organised. At 6 pm same day he will reach Kharasia where a public meeting will be held and he will take night halt at Kharasia itself. The next day he will hold a press meet at Kharasia at 10 am before his return to the capital.
On August 26, the chief minister will visit sarangarh where a public meeting is scheduled at 11.30 am, at 3.30 pm he will attend a welcome meet at Baramkela, at 4.15 pm he will attend welcome meet at Saria, at 4.30 a public meeting will be organised at Nadigaon, , a welcome meet will be organised at Pusaur at 6 pm whereas at 7 pm the chief minister will attend a public meeting at Raigarh. Next day on August 27 he will address a press conference at 10 am.
likewise, on August 29 a welcome meet will be organised at village Saraipali of Tamnar block at 11.15 am while at 12.45 pm a public meeting will be organised at Gharghoda and another public meeting will be organised at 3 pm at lailunga. The chief minister will attend a welcome meet at Rajpur at 4.30 pm and another welcome meet at village Bakaruma under Dharamjaigarh block at 5.30 pm from where the Chief Minister will leave for Patthalgaon (Jashpur).
