She has applied for Congress ticket from Kota Assembly constituency from where she is a sitting MLA
Wife of Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (Jogi) , JCC (J), chief Ajit Jogi and Congress legislator from Kota Assembly segment, Dr Renu Jogi on Tuesday said that she is not interested to contest upcoming Assembly polls on a JCC (J) ticket.
"If Congress party does not allot me poll ticket , I will not contest the upcoming polls", she said.
She was talking to media persons here at Sagaun Bungalow.
Talking to media persons, Renu Jogi said she had applied for Congress ticket from Kota Assembly constituency from where she is a sitting MLA. “I am waiting for the declaration of names of candidates for Congress poll tickets and am keen to contest the polls once again with Congress ticket only”, she said.
She said this after biography of her husband Ajit Jogi written by her titled ‘Ankahi Kahani’, was unveiled by senior journalists in a simple function held at Sagaun Bungalow.
