To mark Chhattisgarh's foundation day, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday announced a relaxation in height and chest measurement for male tribal candidates looking to work as Subedar or Sub Inspector or Platoon Commander in the police.
The last date of online application has been extended till November 11. The last date was earlier October 31, an official communication said.
The minimum physical height will now be 163 cm for male Scheduled Tribe members.
Similarly, the minimum chest measurement has been fixed as 78 cm without inflating the chest and 83 cm after inflation.
The remaining qualifications as per the advertisement have been retained.
